Royal Voluntary Service is delighted to be McCarthy & Stone’s Charity of the Year in 2017 to help celebrate the company’s milestone 40th anniversary.
As part of this partnership the UK’s leading retirement housebuilder is now encouraging staff and homeowners to sing their hearts out for vulnerable and older people in the UK.
Sing Your Heart Out is a chance for McCarthy & Stone people to not only get together and reap the benefits of belting out a few tunes, but to organise concerts within their communities and raise funds for a good cause. The company has been tremendously successful with their fundraising so far and has already smashed their 2017 fundraising target:
“We are enormously proud here at McCarthy & Stone to have raised so many funds for such a worthwhile cause. Both organisations share many of the same values and have a long history of working to enrich the lives of older people and their families. Our sponsorship of Sing Your Heart Out is a chance for us to have fun singing and at the same time raise even more money for Royal Voluntary Service. We will be encouraging our developments to hold concerts and invite their friends and family in to listen to the choirs.” Geoff Bates, McCarthy & Stone spokesperson.
“We are grateful for the support from McCarthy & Stone for Sing Your Heart Out. Our partnership is based on a shared goal to improve the lives of our ageing population. At both organisations we encourage people to get involved in local communities across Britain.” Sanita Guddu, Sing Your Heart Out Manager for Royal Voluntary Service.
If you are in a choir, then you can support older to have a happier Christmas by raising funds and dedicating a concert to Sing Your Heart Out.
