Where does the money go?
Every penny you raise will help transform the lives of thousands of isolated and vulnerable older people in your local area. Whether that’s helping them see friends, go shopping or collect library books. At Royal Voluntary Service, we are here to help them stay connected, not isolated.
How do I hold my own event?
You can Sing Your Heart Out anywhere – outside your local supermarket, at church or at a local school. All you need to do is arrange a time and place, then invite friends and family to come along and enjoy the performance.
You can promote your event, create and sell tickets through Eventbrite or Meetup. The more tickets you sell, the more money you’ll raise.
Other than selling tickets, how will I raise money?
That’s up to you. You could set up a JustGiving page and ask friends and family for donations. You could also ask talented choir members and friends to volunteer their skills, like baking, and bring some treats to sell to your audience on the day. Sign up now and we’ll send you a free choir kit.
